Parlay calculator

Enter the odds for each leg and your stake to see the payout, profit, parlay odds and the chance every leg hits. American, decimal or fractional odds.

How parlay payouts work

A parlay ties two or more picks into one bet. Every leg has to win for it to pay, and in return the odds of the legs are multiplied together. The calculator does three things:

  1. Converts every leg to decimal odds. Decimal odds include your stake, which makes them easy to multiply.
  2. Multiplies the legs together to get the parlay's combined decimal odds.
  3. Multiplies by your stake to get the total return. Profit is the return minus the stake.
Return = Stake × Decimal₁ × Decimal₂ × … × Decimalₙ

Worked example: three legs at -110

-110 is 1.909 in decimal odds. Three legs combine to 1.909 × 1.909 × 1.909 = 6.96, about +596 in American odds. A stake of 10 returns 69.58: 59.58 of profit plus your 10 back.

American, decimal and fractional odds

  • Positive American (+150): divide by 100 and add 1. +150 is 2.50 decimal.
  • Negative American (-200): divide 100 by the number and add 1. -200 is 1.50 decimal.
  • Fractional (5/2): divide the numbers and add 1. 5/2 is 3.50 decimal.

Why parlays get hard so fast

Each leg's implied chance is 1 divided by its decimal odds, and because every leg has to win, those chances multiply too. Two legs at -110 land about 27% of the time. Five legs at -110 land about 4% of the time, which is why a five-leg parlay pays around 25 times your stake. See how often parlays really hit across hundreds of FakeBet tickets.

The odds also carry the sportsbook's margin, so the true chance is usually a little lower than the implied figure. That margin compounds with every leg you add. The implied probability calculator shows how to strip it out.

Parlay questions

How is a parlay payout calculated?

Convert each leg's odds to decimal odds, multiply them together to get the parlay's combined decimal odds, then multiply by your stake. The result is your total return; subtract the stake to get profit. For example, three legs at -110 (1.909 decimal each) combine to 6.96, so a 10 stake returns 69.58, a profit of 59.58.

How do I convert American odds to decimal odds?

For positive American odds, divide by 100 and add 1 (+150 becomes 2.50). For negative American odds, divide 100 by the odds without the minus sign and add 1 (-200 becomes 1.50).

What is the probability of winning a parlay?

Each leg's implied probability is 1 divided by its decimal odds. Multiply the legs' probabilities together to get the chance that every leg wins. Odds include a sportsbook margin, so the true chance is usually a little lower than this implied figure.

What happens to a parlay if one leg pushes or is void?

At most sportsbooks a pushed or voided leg is removed and the parlay is recalculated with the remaining legs, so a three-leg parlay becomes a two-leg parlay at lower odds. Remove that leg in the calculator to see the new payout. House rules vary, so check the specific rules.

Why do parlays pay more than single bets?

Every leg has to win, so the chance of the whole parlay winning drops quickly as you add legs. The payout grows because the odds of all legs are multiplied together to reflect that lower chance.

Can I practice parlays without risking money?
