Introduction

FakeBet ("we," "our," or "us") is a sports prediction simulation game. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this policy carefully. By using FakeBet, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address, display name, and profile photo (optional) when you create an account.
• Game Data: Your betting history, virtual coin balance, achievements, and leaderboard rankings within the game.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app, including features used, time spent, and gameplay patterns.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you opt-in to notifications, we collect tokens to send you game updates.
• Website Visits: When you visit fakebet.app, our hosting provider (Google Firebase) logs standard request details: IP address, approximate location (country and city), browser type, the page requested, and the page that linked you there. We use these logs only to understand website traffic, and they are deleted after 30 days.
• Website Analytics: fakebet.app uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used, such as which calculators people use and how many people tap "Get the app". Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and receives your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off for Google Analytics, website data is kept separate from the app, and we do not sell this data. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors scroll and tap on our pages (heatmaps and session replays) so we can fix confusing layouts. Clarity masks text you type, does not record other sites, and its data is processed by Microsoft under the same consent and opt-out choices described here. Visitors in Europe are asked before any analytics cookies are set. You can turn website analytics off at any time on the Privacy choices page, and we honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal.
• Website Advertising: fakebet.app also loads the X (Twitter) Ads conversion pixel, which measures how well our X ad campaigns perform (for example, whether a visit led to a sign-up). It is covered by the same consent banner and opt-out choices as the analytics above — it does not load until you accept, and never loads for visitors who have opted out or sent the Global Privacy Control signal. We may also send X a small number of server-side conversion events (such as a sign-up or purchase) using a one-way hashed version of your email address, which X cannot reverse back into your email.

Information Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service Providers: Firebase (authentication, database), RevenueCat (in-app purchases), Expo (push notifications)
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
• With Your Consent: Such as displaying your name on public leaderboards

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Opt-out of push notifications
• Export your data
• Withdraw or change your ad personalization consent via Ad Preferences (in-app option available in EU/EEA, Brazil, and regulated US states; Google's ad settings available globally)

Children's Privacy

FakeBet is intended for users aged 18 and older due to simulated gambling content. We do not knowingly collect information from minors under 18. If you believe we have collected information from someone under 18, please contact us immediately.

Advertising & Ad Consent

FakeBet shows ads to free-tier users through Google AdMob. If you are located in the EU/EEA, Brazil, or a regulated US state, you will be asked to choose whether ads may be personalized based on your interests when you first launch the app.

You can review or withdraw your ad consent at any time. The options available to you depend on your region:

• EU/EEA, Brazil, regulated US states: Open FakeBet → Settings → Privacy → Ad Preferences to re-open the consent form directly. This option only appears in regions where consent is legally required.
• All regions: fakebet.app/privacy-choices explains your options and links to Google's ad settings.
• Google's ad settings (all regions): adssettings.google.com

Choosing non-personalized ads means you will still see ads, but they will not be tailored to your interests. To remove ads entirely, upgrade to FakeBet+ or FakeBet VIP in the app.

Google Play Games

On Android, FakeBet uses Google Play Games Services to sync achievements and leaderboard scores and to show game statistics on your Play Games profile.

If you allow it, FakeBet also asks Google to store a secure, encrypted link between your Play Games profile and your FakeBet account, so you can restore your account on a new device. This link contains no personal information you haven't already provided. It is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.

You can remove this link at any time in FakeBet (Settings → Privacy → Restore with Google Play Games) or in your Google Play Games settings. It is removed automatically when you delete your FakeBet account.

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity - Website analytics on fakebet.app only
• X (Twitter) Ads - Website ad conversion tracking on fakebet.app only
• RevenueCat - In-app purchase management
• Expo - Push notifications and app updates
• The Odds API - Sports odds data
• AdMob (Google) - Advertising (for free users)
• Google Play Games Services (Google) - Achievements, leaderboards, game statistics, and optional account restore (Android)

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this policy periodically.
